STUDY · SENIOR 65/20 ACCOMMODATION

Senior 65/20 — 20-question subset, take it in any language

If you are 65 years old or older AND have been a lawful permanent resident for 20 or more years, USCIS administers a 20-question senior subset of the underlying test version (2008 or 2025), determined by your N-400 filing date. You answer 10 of those 20, and 6 of 10 correct passes. You may also take the test in your language of choice.

If you are 65 years old or older and have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for 20 or more years, USCIS will continue to administer a test with 10 questions from a specially selected bank of 20 test questions from either the 2008 or 2025 test, based on when you file Form N-400. You may also take the naturalization test in the language of your choice.
Quoted exactly, without paraphrase, from USCIS test-updates page (rev. 09/18/2025).

Which 20 questions do you study?

The senior subset depends on which test version applies to your filing date. If you filed before October 20, 2025, you study the senior 20 from the 2008 bank. If you filed on or after, you study the senior 20 from the 2025 bank.
